Twice a year, Boston’s City Hall Plaza turns into a flock of music fans, attracting over 20,000 people for what Consequence of Sound calls one of the top 10 festivals in the entire United States. The Boston Calling Music Festival is a dynamic event with a versatile lineup, delicious food trucks, and beer gardens to quench fans’ thirst. Mountain Productions proudly staged the inaugural Boston Calling festival in 2013 which took place over two days at City Hall Plaza. Boston Calling’s unique lineup draws music followers to catch some of indie music’s most renowned artists, including Fun., The National, The Shins, Of Monsters and Men, Young the Giant, and more.

Mountain Productions’ Hercules Grid System stood as Boston Calling’s main stage at the 2013 Spring event. Boston Calling’s one-of-a-kind logo and branding were displayed with custom printed softgood wings and header on the stage. Mountain’s multi-tiered front of house structure supported the main stage, and provided a spot platform on the second level. For video screen support, Mountain Productions built two scaffold structures with flanking bays to hang large video screens for added visual support.
