When you think of Mountain Productions, it’s no surprise that staging and music events are the first thoughts that come to mind. Behind the stages, however, has been our transition from solely a staging company to that of an integration company, providing vendor services in Engineering, Fabrication, Installation and Rigging Sales. This integration focus allows us to provide each service as a stand-alone offering, where anyone can approach us as a trusted third-party vendor to assist in entertainment and industrial installations. Our recent installation at Longwood University, where our experienced team engineered, fabricated and installed rigging attachment points for the speakers and scoreboard, is just one example of our crew’s capabilities and expertise in custom-creating solutions that are tailored to each of our client’s requirements. With each project we undertake, there is always a unique set of challenges and considerations that must be considered, and our time at Longwood University was no different. Below, we take you through our full journey at Longwood and highlight the rigging, design, safety compliance and project management considerations presented at each stage of the project.
With nearly 18,000 events under our belt across North America, Mountain Productions knows what it takes to create an unforgettable festival experience. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned festival-goer, our 2024 Festival Survival Guide will ensure you make the most of your next fest.
As businesses begin to reopen across the US, people are looking to enjoy experiences missed over the last few months. Dining out and enjoying live performances must top many people’s lists after coronavirus lockdowns. While many owners are busy preparing for the reopening of their businesses, it is very important that social distancing measures are implemented to keep us safe.
While the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention still advises tables to be spaced at least 6 feet apart, we, at Mountain Productions, have come up with easy and quick solutions to allow for the safe return to work while maximizing business opportunities.
Here are our innovative solutions for extending your workplace safely and effectively to welcome your long-awaited diners.
Extend seating onto the pavement
In order to practice social distancing, many owners will experience a troubling shortage of dining space. Our MTN decking and barricades provide a quick, flexible space extension onto the nearby street without compromising a unique dining experience.
With the aid of our compact truss pieces, owners can decorate this unit with the same lighting to keep the entire area consistent with their character. We only use the strong, top-quality truss that can support your additional enhancements aesthetically.
Expand your restaurant with a mobile unit
Looking for something mobile? We have got you covered.
Not only does this structure provide mobility, but the expanded section of our SL-100 mobile stage can also serve as an exclusive VIP area, allowing families and friends to enjoy meals without interacting with other guests.
This mobile staging system even enables restaurants or cafes to suspend heavy lights, speakers, projectors etc to create a unique atmosphere for special occasions such as birthdays and bridal showers to cheer up your diners
Keep live performances alive
Some bar managers told us they were worried about whether their live shows could still continue when they reopen their doors to customers.
We’re here to get live music back into gear and bring back the calming sense of release that many people miss.
Our new layout with social-distancing practices in place makes live performances even more enjoyable. The SL-100 mobile stage which has previously been erected for thousands of concerts and outdoor events gives diners a real, immersed music experience while performers can leverage the sophisticated system to up their game.
The premium glass barricades around the seats and the elevated platform are used to help separate customers from passers-by for a nice evening out with the city landscape.
The pandemic disruptions have shattered many people’s plans but we all have the ability to adapt and develop through difficult times. We’re in this together.
