Board of Mountain Productions, Inc. Appoints Ricky Rose as Chief Executive Officer

Mountain Productions, Inc., a global leader in staging and entertainment event production, announced today that Ricky Rose has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer. Rose is an owner of the company and previously served as a staging supervisor and as Director of International Development, where he established a European division based in Dublin, Ireland.

As Director of International Development, he successfully built a network of transnational partners and clients, setting the stage for Mountain’s success in a global market and widening the impact of the company’s e-commerce efforts and brand recognition. Rose received a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the prestigious Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts and an MBA from Trinity College Dublin, where he consulted for the multi-national Swedish Telecom, Ericsson.

Diehard festival goers are a unique demographic comprised of everyone from old-school music devotees all the way to fist-bumping millennials. Take one walk around a festival like Lollapalooza and you’ll see a wide range of faces, each with their own unique personalities, interests and characteristics. As entertainment professionals, it’s our job to understand this audience and how to cater to them, and only them—after all, it’s their loyalty that keeps us in business.

Thankfully, we live in the age of big data. This data is complex, with millions of data points provided, making it challenging to connect the dots and make vital decisions. If managed correctly, however, the reward is success, sold out crowds and the opportunity to host our events for yet another year.

Our team has worked hard to perfect the MTN BOX design over the years through our in-house engineering department, and our Spektrum Series Road Cases have taken the industry by storm. Instead of treating the MTN BOX as just another road case, we knew the potential benefits and long-term positive changes this product could offer to the entertainment, industrial, and construction industries as well as other markets outside of production.

The CMA Music Festival was an enormous project, featuring our Mountain Truss HD System, a custom-made multi-level front of house and Mountain Truss Delay Towers inside Nissan Stadium for the main stage performance venue, as well as a truss tower and roof grid stage structure at the Walk of Fame.

The facts are simple. More than 80 percent of consumers agree that they would choose an American-made product given the choice. Nearly 60 percent of American consumers consider environmental impact when choosing a product, and more than half of all American consumers agree that they would pay “a little” to “significantly more” for a product that met their standards for being environmentally friendly. These facts may seem trivial to you, but they underline the significance of manufacturing environmentally conscious products right here in the United States.

One of the leading safety organizations in entertainment is the Event Safety Alliance (ESA). The ESA has quickly become one of the most important organizations amongst us, encouraging the adoption of critical safety procedures, and providing the education and training necessary to keep crews updated and informed. Jim Digby, Founder and Chairman of the Board of the ESA, is a 34-year veteran of the entertainment industry, and leads the ESA’s journey to global event safety.
