[EVENT RECAP] Custom Tower Structure for CVS at Bryant Park, NYC
This past week, Mountain Productions built a unique structure that pulled together a striking visual campaign for CVS. To announce that CVS/pharmacy® stores will no longer be selling tobacco products, a 50’ tall “cigarette” was literally put out in a giant ashtray over the course of the day. Taking place at Bryant Park in New York City, the event was an intriguing and attention-grabbing way to spread the word about their latest news.

Mountain Productions’ 2014 CM Hoist School
We’d like to thank everyone who attended our 29th Annual CM Hoist School, as well as our vendors and seminar leaders. This was the first year that the Hoist School was extended to 5 full days, and students were treated to extended rigging and motor classes taught by CM’s Dave Carmack and ETCP certified rigger, Eric Rouse.
Other seminars included a truss class led by James Thomas Engineering’s Tray Allen, a seminar covering slings with Spanset’s Jeff Wallace, and education in motor control and load monitoring with Motion Laboratories’ Mike Webb. Below are a few pictures from Hoist School week. If anyone who attended has pictures they would like to share, please post them in a comment to this blog or to our Facebook page. A Refreshing Scaffold Seminar
Consistency (among many other things) helps maintain long, successful relationships. You know that you have a solid partner when you can count on them to deliver the results you expect, time after time again. One of the best ways to maintain consistently good performance and exceptional service is to practice. We’ve all heard it before: “Practice makes perfect.” And I’m sure we can all attest to the truth in this statement. Considering the dynamic nature of our industry’s codes and regulations, coupled with the precise and rugged work required, it’s crucial to freshen up and review the basics throughout the year.
