Each year, Mountain Productions is proud to be involved in several university commencements throughout the country, providing staging, flooring, seating and more. The University of North Carolina celebrated their 2016 commencement ceremony this past weekend, and our crew built the main stage area for the event.
The main stage provided a 57’ x 42’ live area that supported 3 riser levels, each increasing in height going towards the upstage end. The roof was a truss grid with a custom engineered peak fascia. Mountain Productions also manufactured the custom roof panels and fascia header for coverage and weather protection. Also included were 2 ADA ramps for handicap access.
