[EVENT RECAP] America's Largest St. Paddy's Day Festival – ShamrockFest 2016

ShamrockFest welcomes thousands of fans to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at the “largest St. Paddy’s Day Festival” of the year. The 2016 ShamrockFest took place this past Saturday, March 12^th at RFK Stadium, and hosted 30+ bands, DJs & performers, multiple stages, carnival rides and much more. Mountain Productions has provided staging for the festival multiple times throughout the years, and returned again this year to join in on the fun.

Mountain Productions set up two mobile stages for the 2016 ShamrockFest. For the Shamrock Gold stage, we raised a SL-260 mobile stage, and built a SL-250 for the Shamrock Green stage. The SL-250 and SL-260 mobile stages are perfect for festivals and events looking for a commanding stage presence with high rigging capacity without investing in a full scaffold or tower system. For the ShamrockFest, our crew built modified, custom 14′ x 14′ versions of our Clearspan FOH structure to serve as the stage wings. Our Clearspan Covered Wings provide complete protection from inclement weather—a necessary feature that eliminates the risk of damaging equipment. We’ve always designed our mobile stage side wings for weather protection, but the new Clearspan Covered Wings take this protection to the next level.

Mountain Productions also built two 20’ x 21’ Clearspan FOH structures to accompany the mobile stages and provided our freestanding aluminum barricade for crowd control. Take a look at some pictures from the 2016 ShamrockFest:
