Some of the biggest names in country rock music gathered in Fort Lauderdale to take the stage at the 2015 Tortuga Music Festival. This is Tortuga’s 3rd year, and the festival brings fans together to “enjoy an unforgettable beach weekend experience that pairs music with meaning to raise awareness for marine conservation.” (Click here to read more about the Tortuga Music Festival at their website) Mountain Productions provided the main stage as well as many of the support structures at Tortuga.
Taking place on the beautiful white sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach Park, the main stage built at Tortuga was the massive Mountain HD+ system. The 80’ wide, 80’ tall stage featured artists like Kenny Chesney and Zac Brown Band, and was flanked by 40’ wide sound bays. The main stage also boasted 2 onstage VIP risers and an extended downstage thrust. Mountain’s Rolling Roof mix position was built for the main stage FOH, supported by combo spot/delay towers, standalone delay towers and camera platforms. Mountain Productions provided a huge 120’ x 74’ VIP platform for premium viewing.
Delay towers, supporting VIP platforms throughout the event site, 12 vendor platforms, custom stair sets and more were built for the large-scale festival. Mountain Productions also provided an SL-320 mobile stage that stood as a side stage at Tortuga.
