[EVENT RECAP] Life in Color, New Year’s Eve in Atlantic City

If you’ve never heard of Life in Color, look no further than the event’s subtitle for your answer: “The World’s Largest Paint Party”. Life in Color is much more than a typical concert. It is a high energy experience that blends together music, art, dance and (you guessed it) paint. The event has grown since its birth in 2006, and has hosted an array of famous DJs.

On New Year’s Eve, Life in Color brought it’s innovative performances to Atlantic City, featuring popular electro house musician, Steve Aoki. Mountain Productions provided the staging, including the main stage, FOH, barricade and riser platforms.

The entire event was held inside a tent featuring a 61′ x 42′ main stage with a 42′ x 42′ truss roof. The roof grid was perfect to accommodate the hanging fixtures that Life in Color required. Flanking the stage on both sides were 24′ x 14′ scaffold wings, including 17′ video walls and 7′ sound wings. The FOH position was 16′ x 16′.

Mountain also provided 2 VIP riser platforms and barricade products to protect and control the crowd. The VIP risers were 20′ x 60′ and 12′ x 32′ and provided guests an exclusive viewing arrangement. Mountain Productions’ durable bicycle rack barricade was generously used at Life in Color as well as the freestanding crowd control barricade. Bike rack barricade was set up throughout the venue while the crowd control stood between front row and the main stage.
